Waxy’s, The Modern Irish Bar + Kitchen is excited to announce that for the month of October they will be thinking pink! All month long Waxy’s will be donating proceeds from every order of pink nachos, both jerk chicken and pulled pork, to support Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The fundraiser will be ongoing throughout the month of October to help raise awareness and funds for breast cancer.
Waxy’s, the Modern Irish Bar + Kitchen, was extremely excited to not just be able to give back but to be able to partner with such a wonderful organization as Susan G. Komen that does so much for breast cancer. To date, the Susan G. Komen organization has invested more than $2.6 billion in groundbreaking research, community health outreach, advocacy and programs in more than 60 countries, and their efforts have reduced the death rates from cancer by 37% between 1990 and 2013.
